Dr. Rachel Hovey’s passion as a chiropractor is to spread knowledge of optimal health to adults, kids and families in the community. Her goal is to provide wellness care that allows all generations to be set up for the best life possible.
Dr. Rachel grew up in Minnesota after high school she attended Hamline University. While a pre-med student at Hamline, she also was a three-sport athlete competing in indoor/outdoor Track & Field and Cross-Country. After a running injury, she found amazing relief from chiropractic care and experienced its benefits firsthand. Helping patients of all ages soon became her passion and she pursued a degree in Chiropractic.
Dr. Rachel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University, where she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Rachel is certified in the Graston Technique and FMT I & II taping. She currently is finishing up her Pediatric Chiropractic Certification through the ICPA and has completed EPIC pediatric training.
Dr. Rachel enjoys listening and understanding patients’ goals in order to give them the best care possible. With her extensive hours and training in treating and understanding pediatric and pregnancy complaints her passion lies in family chiropractic care. Her goal is to help individuals of all ages be set up for living long healthy lives. Dr. Rachel wants families to know that there is more for their children and is passionate to share that with the community.
In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors with her husband Zach and dog Jaxon, running, and spending summers at her family’s lake cabin in Alexandria. It is most important to Dr. Rachel to pursue growth as a doctor of chiropractic, serving and educating the community and in her faith with God.
