How many patients do we see each week? ZERO!

PATIENT VS. PRACTICE MEMBER

That’s correct! We DO NOT see any patients here at Align. We see practice members. I know what you’re thinking… What in the world is a practice member? Before I get into that, let me first give you the definition of what a patient is and why you will not find one here.

PATIENT: A sick, diseased, ill or dying individual requiring medical care

Our country is a very REACTIVE society. Most of this country waits for a pain/symptom to arise and then attempts to COVER UP those symptoms using drugs/medications, while never ACTUALLY FIXING the problem and calls that health. I’m sorry if this comes as a shock to you, but that is not health. With that being said, I want you to know that I am not against drugs or surgeries. They are not the problem. The problem is we have become a society where drugs or surgeries are our GO TO. So many of us do not take proactive action to actually move toward health. That is why many Americans LITERALLY NEED some type of medical care/drug to simply get through the day.

PRACTICE MEMBER OF ALIGN: Someone who understands what it means to be healthy and CHOOSES to get healthier over time

Every individual who comes here has been greatly educated on what health truly is, how the body works, and what action steps are needed so they can obtain the highest level of health. Most importantly, they learn how to MAINTAIN that level of health. We DO NOT sell people into care. We educate everyone about every little thing that we do here and WHY we do it so that they fully understand the big picture and are here for the right reasons. Not everyone’s health is important to them. In the same way, not everyone would be a good fit here. Most of these AMAZING, CRAZY and AWESOME practice members choose to START care because they want to get rid of their pain and feel better. Once their pain is gone, they choose to STAY not just because they don’t want to go down that road again, but because for the first time in their life they are just starting to get a taste of what health truly is and they want more of it.
